Real-Time Shuttle Tracking

The Passio GO app helps riders track University of Rochester shuttle buses in real time and stay up-to-date on service changes.

Getting Started

Download the free Passio GO app for your Apple iOS device or Android. Once downloaded, open the app. Tap “Select an Agency” and toggle on “University of Rochester.” You can also visit the University’s Passio GO site on a computer.

Tracking Shuttles

View routes and stops: Use the map to view bus routes, bus locations, and stops.

Track a Route: Track a shuttle on a specific route by toggling it on under “Routes.”

Favorite Stops: Favorite your most frequently used bus stops for quick access and viewing.

Stay Informed with Service Alerts

Stay informed about service alerts (delays, reroutes, important announcements) through two methods: Push Notifications and Messages.

Push notifications:

    • Enable Push Notifications: Ensure push notifications are enabled for the Passio GO app in your phone’s settings. This allows you to receive alerts on your phone’s lock screen or notification bar when new notifications arrive.
    • Viewing Notifications: Tap a push notification to open the app. The message will be displayed in a red banner across the map.

Messages:

    • Mobile App: Tap “Messages” to view service alerts. The “Messages” button can be found:
      • In the bottom right-hand corner of the app screen.
      • Within the menu icon (represented by three horizontal lines).
    • Desktop: On a desktop computer, when viewing the map in full-screen mode, “Messages” can be found in the upper right-hand corner.
